In the spring of 2017 we created the L:a Bruket Supperclub. Michelin trained masterchef Pedro Passinas composed an amazing full course dinner. The ingredients came from the Swedish west coast. Just like the inspiration to L:a Bruket’s products.
Pedro Passinhas is well known for his work with modernist cousin and for the pop up restaurant Denim ‘n’ Dine. The latter is a supperclub in a denim factory where Pedro and his team prepares great food in a charismatic milieu.
L:a Bruket takes inspiration from the coast and sea. Therefore the menu was based on local food from Varberg and it’s surroundings. Ramson custard with seaweed vinegar, for example. And poached cod with ocean persillade. Needless to say, the six course menu left no one disappointed.
To make this happen, L:a Bruket joined forces with local entrepreneurs. A pop up kitchen was created in the new L:a Bruket warehouse in Träslövsläge. And old floorboards from a local workshop became the magnificent long table where the guest enjoyed this dinner by the sea.
